Timothy Roy Johnson 45 of Middle Ave. Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, West Virginia. Timothy was born on Saturday, January 04, 1969 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Helen (Workman) Johnson of Paden City, WV and the late Charles Johnson. Timothy was a graduate of Paden City High School. He had been a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia for the past six years. He was currently working in private security. Timothy served in the US Navy between 1988 and 1992 serving his country proudly during the Persian Gulf War. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include: His Mother: Helen Workman Johnson of Paden City, West Virginia His wife: Regina Mitchem Johnson of the home One Son: Michael Johnson currently stationed in Georgia with the US Air Force One Daughter: Samantha Johnson of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Two Step-Daughters: Angela Mitchem of Princeton, West Virginia Savannah Green of the home One Brother: Charles Johnson of Paden City, West Virginia Three Sisters: His twin, Kimberly Gellner of Bridgeport, Ohio Maggie Harton of Racin, Ohio Tammy Johnson of New Martinsville, WV Two Step-Grandchildren: Sabastian Paynter and Gabriel Mitchem The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia. The Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00p.m. at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home 309 N Fourth Avenue Paden City, West Virginia. Graveside services will follow at the Cecil Cemetery on Paden Fork Road in Paden City, West Virginia Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com and www.jarvisfuneralhomes.com
