Barbara Waddell

Barbara A. Privett Waddell, 53, of Immanuel Lane, Bluefield, passed on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on Welch on December 23, 1960 she was a daughter of the late Charles Privett and Nancy Day Privett of Bluefield, WV. She was a graduate of Concord College at Athens, WV. She retired from the Mercer County School System and had taught at Silver Springs, Melrose, Wade, Bluefield Intermediate and Glenwood. She was a granddaughter of Charlie and Opal Morgan Privett Workmen and Frank and Sofa Day. Survivors: Mother: Nancy Day Privett of Sandlick Road, Bluefield, WV Brothers: David Privett of Bluefield Steaven Privett of Bluefield, WV Nieces: Rebeca Stone, Kimberly Privett, and Katelyn Privett Nephews: Charles Jason Privett and wife Candace, Billy Privett and Steaven Privett of Sandlick Road Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell where the family and friends will speak and remember her life. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Immediately following the service, friends of the family are asked to gather at the home of her mother, Nancy Privett, at 205 Immanuel Lane (Sandlick) Bluefield, WV.
