Cecile Alice Simpson

Cecile Alice Simpson, 76, of Simpson Court, Rock, passed away on Tuesday,August 19, 2014 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on February 26, 1938 in PA, she had been a resident of Rock for 35 years as a homemaker. Survivors include: Husband of 36 years: Perry C. "Butch" Simpson of the home 2 sons: William Smith, III of CA Jimmy T.W. Alton of Claypool Hill, VA 3 daughters: Theresa Sims of Claypool Hill, VA Lorrie Ann Howell of Princeton Lisa Alton Foy of Charlotte, NC 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
