James Edward Nichols, Jr., 57, of City View Heights, Princeton, WV, departed this life on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on June 24, 1957 in Welch, he was a son of Patricia Marshall Nichols of McDowell, WV and the late James Edward Nichols. He had been a resident of Princeton for several years and was formerly of McDowell County. He was a carpenter.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Lina Nichols, and Heath and Ruby Marshall, and a father in law, Vernon Hylton.

Mother in law: Barbara Hylton of Princeton
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Robert Hudler officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Randy Nichols, Ronnie Nichols, Jerry Fowler, Matthew Edwards, Dwayne Sizemore and Dwight Sizemore officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
