Thomas David “Dave” Little, 65, of Harmon Branch Road, Thorpe, WV, went to be with the Lord suddenly on August 1, 2014.
Born on May 18, 1949 in Welch, he was a son of the late Ed and Ethel Day Little. Dave had many accomplishments in life. He graduated from Gary High School Class of 1968. He also served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. Dave worked at General Motors in Detroit, MI for a few years then returned to WV and worked for US Steel #50 mines for 34 years. He was a member of the UMWA. After retiring from the mines, he was known by friends and family as a hobbied car collector. He was an active member of the VFW Post #1144 of Iaeger.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Michael Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with members of the Veterans Affairs will serve as pallbearers. The Iaeger VFW Post #1144 will perform military honors.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
