Rhonda Donna Jean Anderson Edwards 51, of Abbs Valley, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 01, 2014 at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born March 08, 1963 in Bluefield, WV to Shirley Dawson Anderson and the late Donnie Anderson. She was a 1981 graduate of Pocahontas High School and a former employee of Bluefield Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Estell Edwards and a son Estell Wayne Edwards Jr. Left to cherish her memories are her son Adam James Edwards of the home. Mother: Shirley Anderson of the home. Brother and sister in law: Donnie Anderson and wife Judy of Falls Mills, VA. Sister: Lisa Hale of Bland, VA. Nieces: Becki Houchins, Amber Creasy and Arissa Anderson. Nephews: Robbie Houchins, Daniel Marrs and Troy Anderson. Sister and brother in law: Sue Houchins and husband Larry of Harpers Ferry, WV. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. She was a good friend to all. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 04, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Carlos Hess officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where Adam Edwards, Donnie Anderson, Troy Anderson, Phillip Mathena, Alvin Dawson, Gab Dawson and Ronnie Matthews will be serving as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 04, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of her service at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
