Ella Mae Bogle

Ella Mae Bogle, 77 of Oakhurst Avenue, Bluefield peacefully passed away on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at the HPH Marliere Hospice Center in New Port Richey, FL. Born on Nov. 12 1936, in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Horne and Helen Fouse Horne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Earnest Bogle, one son, Willis Wayne Short; one grandson, Dennis Lee Neal; one brother Henry Horne, and three sisters, Imogene King, Bertha Honaker and Marie Thornton. Surviving are her children Roger Wilbrant and wife Kim of FL, Jennie Neal and husband Dennis, Sandra Ross and husband Ike of Mockville, NC, Jacqueline Atkins of Lexington, Tammy Fralick and husband Jerry, Charles Short and wife Victoria, Julie Byrd and husband Tony, and John Short all of Bluefield, WV, two brothers Michael Horne and Tommy Horne, two sisters Carolyn Thornton and Mandy Blankenship. Also surviving are her grandkids, Richard Lawson, Felicia Nave, Melissa Carnett, Daryl Baker, Jr., Jonathon Short, Andrew Wilbrant, Christopher Short, Amber Short, Richard Neal, Jason Neal, Chris Short; 12 great grandkids and 2 great-great grand kids. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Douglas McDaniel, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
