Clyde Mitchem

Clyde Harrison Mitchem, age 70, of Northfork, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his home. Born on June 3, 1944 in Eckman, WV, he was a son of the late Robert and Fern Tetter Mitchem. He had lived in Mercer County for the past 13 years and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Old Fashion Full Gospel Church. In addition to his parents he was precede in death by 5 brothers. Survivors include: Wife: Mary Tackett Mitchem of the home Sons: Donald Mitchem and wife Beverly of Bluewell, WV Daniel Mitchem of the home and companion Katheryn Workman of Sandlick Brothers: Willard Mitchem of Big Four, WV Kenneth Mitchem of Coaldale Mountain, WV 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Harold Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock House Cemetery in Kimball, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be his family and friends.
