Marie Robertson

Marie Hutchinson Robertson, 90, of Sarasota, Fl, formerly of Bluefield, W. Va, passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2014. She was the daughter of Howard Hutchinson and Stella Mae Hicks of Bluefield, W.VA. She was married 59 years to her husband Lacy Robertson of Bluefield, W. Va. who passed away March 28, 2009. Her twin children are Duane Robertson and his wife Naomi of Sarasota, FL and Diane Funk and her husband Aaron of Sarasota, FL, two grandchildren, Liam Robertson and Zane Funk of Sarasota, Fl and her brothers and sisters are Herman Hutchinson and his wife Loraine of Brushfork, W. Va, Clayton Hutchinson and his wife Suzy of Bluefield, Va, Franklin Hutchinson and his wife Nancy of Bluefield, W. Va, Maxine Hager of Bluefield, W. Va. and Myrtle Richardson of Bluefield, W. Va. and is preceded in death by one brother, Chris Hutchinson and his wife Janie of Brushfork, W.Va., and one sister, Mary Pilkins and her husband Robert of Crete, IL. Marie loved treasure hunting at garage sales and flea markets and singing gospel music with her husband Lacy, She was also very grateful and thankful to God for the miracle of having twins and would speak about it daily. She was a member of the Airport Road First Church of God in Bluefield, W.Va Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Dana Hambrick officiating. Burial will folloaw at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
