Rita & Robert Overbee

Rita Ann Overbee, 52, and her son, Robert Gabriel Overbee, 28, of Darrah Heights, Princeton, WV, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 in Logan County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. They were greatly loved and will be truly missed. Rita was born on May 27, 1961 in Ohio to Robert and Lillie Burks Turpin of OH. She had worked for 20 years as a CNA and was a member of the Southview Church. Robert was born on February 2, 1986 in OH to the late Carl Daily and Rita Turpin Overbee. Rita was preceded in death by her sons, Marshall and Robert Overbee; and a sister, Brenda Dale Survivors include, Rita’s: Daughters and Robert’s Sisters: Carla White of Princeton Betty Jean “BJ” Overbee of Princeton April Lilly Overbee Welch, WV Brothers: Robert Turpin, Jr of Burgoon, OH Kenneth Turpin and wife Ruby of Lady Lake, FL Brian Turpin of Fostoria, OH Sisters: Lisa Turpin of Wilkesboro, NC Julie Hutchinson and husband Jeremy of Rising Sun, OH Gloria Abshire and Donald of Princeotn Grandchildren: Caleb, Autumn, Micheal, and Joshua of Welch Barry Farrah and Alana of Princeton Joint funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Southview Church on Route 20 with Pastor Jerry Novell and Rev. Earlene Clemins Officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery in Hemphill with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 11-1 at the Southview Church on Rt. 20.
