William Oscar Morgan, Sr. 87, of Dusty Miller Street, Princeton, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014 at his home. He was deeply loved by his family and will be missed very much.
Born on September 17, 1926 in North Springs, WV, he was a son of the late Ottoway and Hattie Morgan. He had been a resident of Princeton for 12 years and was a retired coal operator. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Rich Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Elsie Justice and Ernie Trent; and brothers, Sampie and Nathan Morgan.

Eric Deeb of Blacksburg, VA
15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 3, 2014 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Ralph Calfee officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
