Elsie Bruce Peraldo, age 89, of Bluefield, VA died on Monday June 16, 2014 at Angel’s Touch Home in Princeton.
Born on August 2, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Mattie Bourne Bruce. She lived in Bluefield for the past 20 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a member and past president of the Pink Dogwood Garden Club, and also the Sons of Italy. She had served on the Bluefield Beautification Committee for both Bluefield, WV and Bluefield, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William C. Taylor; second husband, Ernest E. Peraldo; and 2 sisters, Louise Bruce and Ruth B. Snow.

Step-Son: Roger Peraldo and wife Emma Jane of Charlottesville, VA

Sister: Sylvia Burton of Princeton, WV
Grandchild: Adam Shelton and wife Lori of North Carolina
Great-Grandchildren: Marion and Megan
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Don Scott officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Mausoleum in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Shelton, Dr. Tim Lee, Bruce Rose, and Terry Rose.
Friends may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell on Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service.
