Ramona Vecellio

Ramona Vecellio, 76, of Lorton Lick Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on September 29, 1937 in Itmann, she was a daughter of the late Antonio “Tony” and Mary Nancy “Nannie” Carosi Vecellio. She had been a resident of Bluewell for most of her life and was a graduate of McComas High School. She was retired from Frankie’s LaSalute and was a faithful member of the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Pocahontas, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Clara Marie Gillespie. Survivors include: Brother in law: Robert “Bobby” Gillespie of Duhring Adopted sister: Jennie Perdue and Sam of Princeton Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Pocahontas, VA with Father Burt Sarè officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 at the Church.
