Harold Kenneth Honaker

Harold Kenneth “Sonny” Honaker, 66, of Wildwood Drive, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home. Born on October 14, 1947 in Kyle, he was a son of the late Walter Harold and Lillian Fortner Honaker. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mack Honaker; and 2 sisters, Novella Wirt and Edna Hazelwood. Survivors include: Wife of 44 years: Cola Cochrane Honaker of the home 2 sons: Kenny Honaker and wife Jennifer of Westerville, OH Randy Honaker and Shannon of Hampton, VA Grandson: Bryce 2 brothers: Bobby Honaker of Homerville, OH David M. Honaker of Beckley, WV 4 sisters: Linda McGuigan of Loraine, OH Denise Boots of Switchback, WV Deborah Lambert of Bluewell Janet Honaker of Princeton, WV Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Deliverance Temple in Brushfork with Rev. David Kirby and Rev. David Lusk officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Brian and Kevin Cochran, Travis and Damon Wells, James Hazelwood, and Jay Spencer will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at Deliverance Temple in Brushfork.
