Brenda Joyce Mullins

Brenda Joyce Shilling Mullins, 65, of Bunny Drive, Bluefield, VA, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on July 6, 1948 in Crystal, she was a daughter of the late Orville C. and Sally Johnson Shilling. She had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 5 years and was a member of the Duhring Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Montcalm High School and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Henry Shilling; and two sisters, Betty Goins and Reva Sadler. Survivors include: Husband: Jack Mullins of the home Son: JC Mullins of NC Daughter: Melissa Jones of NC 1 grandchild: Katelyn Jones of NC Brother: Cletus Shilling and Linda of Bluefield Sisters: Charlotte Dillon of Bluefield Susie Dequino and Johnny of Bluefield Carol Shilling of Elkton, MD Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Paul Delida officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
