Betty Lee Gentry Tilley, 83, of Littlesburg Road (Brushfork), Bluefield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Westwood Nursing Home after a 6 year battle of pancreatic cancer.
Born on November 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edgar J. and Gladys Brookman Taylor. She was a member of the Christian Mission Church for 65 years. She worked for Mansure Textile for 4 years and then she became a wife and mother and helped on the farm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Sherman J. Gentry; a brother, Bill (Buck) Taylor; a sister, Lois Taylor and a stepdaughter, Dorothy Nelson of California.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Sherman Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 at the funeral home.
