Betty Jo Sanders

Betty Jo Watkins Sanders, 81, of Luzerne, Michigan, and formerly of Bluewell, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Charlotte Medical Center in Pineville, NC. Born on July 12, 1932 in McComas, she was the daughter of the late William Clay and Marjorie Barlow Bell. She had lived in Michigan for 28 years and was of the Protestant faith. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Sutphin; and a granddaughter, Tonja Jo Brindle. Survivors include: Husband: Al Poster of Luzerne, MI 1 Son: Thurman “Dale” Watkins and wife Darla of Falls Mills, VA 2 Daughters: Regina Moretto and husband Thomas of Fort Mill, SC Roseanna Bratton and husband Lester of Bluefield, WV 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Mike Werle officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where grandsons, Timmy Sutphin, Benny Sutphin, Tommy Moretto, TJ Poster; and Jason Lambert and Chris Dinger will serve as pallbearers.
