Mary Stella Webb

Mary Stella Cox Webb age 102 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia formerly of Gary, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows, Virginia. Mary was born on April 20, 1912 in Floyd County, Virginia to the late James Taylor and Mary A. McPeak Cox. Mary made her home with her children since 2009, visiting her home in Gary, WV part time. She attended the Wilcoe Church of God and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death her husband, Forrest Webb; and a great granddaughter, Emily Jones.                 Survivors Include:                 One Son:                 Forrest “Gail” Webb and wife Ruth of Iaeger, WV                 Two Daughters:                 Pasty L. McCarthy and husband Johnny of Meadows of Dan, VA                 Mary Sue Osborne and husband Carter of Meadows of Dan, VA                 Four Grandchildren:                 Michael McCarthy of Princeton, WV                 David McCarthy of Meadows of Dan, VA                 Sherry Jean Rash of Meadows of Dan, VA                 Austin Ray Osborne of Meadows of Dan, VA                 Five (5) Great Grandchildren and Six (6) Great-Great Grandchildren                 Funeral service will held for Mary on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Don Sizemore officiating the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home.
