Thomas Wayne "TW" Perdue, Jr.

PRINCETON — Thomas Wayne “TW” Perdue, Jr., 36, of Leah Drive, Princeton, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on September 15, 1977 in Princeton, he was a son of Ed and Anita Myers of Princeton, WV and Tom and Sandy Perdue of Brushfork, WV. Thomas was an extremely intelligent and gifted young man who loved history and science. He was an avid reader with a variety of interests but most especially Science fiction novels and any book that could bring understanding and knowledge of God and His amazing Universe. He dreamed of someday traveling in space among the stars and planets and is now on his “Final Frontier” with his Lord. We have been blessed to have him in our lives. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends who loved and cared for him since the vehicle accident he suffered in December of 2000. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred (Pud) and Helen Rose of Goodwill, WV; and Clayton and Beulah Perdue of Brushfork, WV; loving Aunts and Uncles, Richard “Boge” Perdue, Jim Perdue, Everett and Judy Rose, Scotty Rose, Ulysses and Goldie Bell and Donna Kay Rose. Survivors in addition to his parents include: Siblings: Brittny Webb - Princeton, Heather and Josh Rotenberry - Princeton, Jason Myers - Raleigh, NC, April Myers - Princeton, Eric and Cindi Groseclose - Princeton. Niece and Nephews: Josh, Jaycee, and Blake Groseclose, and Gabe Nance. And the nephew TW had a special bond with Chad “CJ” Sabo. Aunts and Uncles: Margaret Broyles, Bluewell, Oscar and Marilyn Morgan - Princeton, Noel and Betty Phillips - Las Vegas, NV, David and Dolly Hambrick - Bluewell, Fred and Donetta Rose - Bluefield, Johnny and Becki Rose - Bluefield, Donnie and Mildred Perdue - Glenwood, Taz and Charlotte Perdue - Bluefield, Dave and Martha Perdue - Brushfork, Wanda and Donald Combs - Lashmeet. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 3:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Dewayne Belcher officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2:30-3:30 at the funeral home.
