Goldie Marie Bell

Our beloved Goldie Marie Bell, age 77, of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014. Family and friends gathered around as she made her journey to the next life.   Goldie, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was a dear friend to many. She will be remembered for her unconditional compassion and devotion to all those she loved; she was so proud to be part of such a large loving family.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran Ulysses Bell, SR, her sister, Donna Kay Rose, her brothers Everett and Scotty Rose, and her sister-in-law, Judy Rose.   She is survived by all of her children, Wayne Bell of Oakwood, VA, Thomas Bell of Hickory, NC, David Bell of Portland, OR, Carol Draper and fiancé Jesse Rivera of Tampa, FL, Marie and Lorin Sloan of Bluefield, WV, and Oran Jr. and Tammy Bell of Bluefield, WV; her grandchildren, Shannon Stuart and fiancé Cassandra Hockman of Christiansburg, VA, Andrea Bell of Bluefield, WV, and Joseph and Katie Bell of Bluefield, WV; her great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Foster and Emily Jo Foster of Bluefield, WV; her sisters, Margaret Broyles of Bluewell, WV, Betty and Noel Phillips of Las Vegas, NV, Marilyn and Oscar Morgan of Princeton, WV, Dolly and David Hambrick of Bluewell, WV, Wanda and Donald Combs of Lashmeet, WV, and Anita and Ed Myers of Raleigh, NC; and her brothers, Fred and Donetta Rose of Bluefield, WV and Johnny and Becki Rose of Bluefield, WV.   Funeral services for Goldie will be conducted Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Dewayne Belcher officiating. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery.   Fred Rose, Johnny Rose, Rusty Rose, Shannon Stuart, Joseph Bell, Tom Bell, David Broyles and Ed Myers will serve as pallbearers.   Family and friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, April 11th, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV.
