Wendell Joe Pack, age 73, of
Anawalt WV, formerly a resident of
Wytheville VA, retired from the Northern
V A area. He passed away Saturday April
5th at McDowell Nursing & Rehab. Center
in Gary ,WV. Born March 5, 1941 in the Big
Creek area of McDowell County, he was the
son ofthe late Joe and Fannie Pack.
Wendell retired from Sperry and
UNIS YS where he worked as a purchasing
agent. Wendell loved attending church,
playing softball, fishing, golf and spoiling
his beloved canine companions Sampson
and Rusty.
In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by his wife Joanne,
siblings Bill (Sylvia) Dan, Don, and Harold
Pack and Marguerite Spencer.
Survivors include daughter Tracey (Chris)
Anderson of Newark Ohio, brother Johnny
(Janice) Pack of Anawalt, sister Betty
(Jerry)Stepp of Anawalt, Sister-in-laws Ann
Pack of St. Clairsville Ohio, Gail Pack of
Manassas, VA., Margaret Pack of Chesapeake, VA., 16 nieces, 10 nephews,28
Grandnieces,20 Grandnephews,14 Great
grandnieces,8 Great grandnephews, A
special friend Emma Jean Clark of the
Havens, and special caregivers, the staff of The Havens, Princeton Hospital (3West) and McDowell Nursing and &Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on
Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1 PM at the
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in
Bluewell, WV with Reverend Donald
Farmer officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday at noon.
