Mildred Mae Huff

Mildred Mae Wood Huff, age 87, of Evangelism Road, Bluefield, WV passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Maples Healthcare in Bluefield, WV.   Born on February 1, 1927 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Thomas Wood and Rhoda Ellen Bond Wood. She was a lifelong resident of Bluefield and spent her entire working career with SS Kresge and K-Mart. She was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Midway Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Flora Wood Goforth; and 5 brothers, James, Edward, Guy, Henry Clay and Eugene Wood. She was the last member of her immediate family.   Left to cherish her memory are:   Nephews: Kenneth Thomas Goforth and wife Bonnie                    Sammy Roger Goforth and wife Pamela                    Jimmy Wood   She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.   Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00 at Monte Vista Park Cemetery in Bluefield with Rev. Wesley Lambert officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the Monte Vista Park Mausoleum Chapel at the time of the service.
