William Henry Foster 89 of Glenwood Park Road Princeton, West Virginia formerly of Bramwell, WV passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital.
William was born on November 12, 1924 in Cattaroy, West Virginia to the late Charles E. and Fannie Reed Foster. William had been a resident of Princeton for the past two years and served his county during WWII in the United States Marine Corps. William was a man of many hats he worked in the coal mines for a while before becoming a Mercer County Deputy Sheriff. He was a Justice of the Peace in Mercer County, WV. William worked as postmaster in Freeman, WV. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF&FM, Eastern Star and Beni Kedem Shrine in Charleston, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded by five brothers Charles E. Foster, Jr., Fred Foster, Richard Foster, Jim Foster and Jack Foster and one sister Mae BiggsSurvivors Include: Wife Juanita Patterson Foster the love of his life for the past 67 years of the home. One daughter:Billie Jean Beard and husband Kenneth of Princeton, WV One Brother: David Foster of Spartanburg, SCFuneral service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. Stephen Rector and Judge Derek Swope officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.The Foster family will receive friends on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of his service at 7:00 p.m.
