Princeton- Betty Jean Wilson, 78, of Glenwood Park Rd., Princeton, WV, passed away Saturday March 8, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born January 30, 1936 in Goodwill, she was a daughter of the late Toy Washington and Nora Perry Bowen. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Skygusty Baptist Church and was a devoted housewife and had lived in Mercer County the past forty years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her; first husband Andy David Wyatt, two daughters; Debbie Wyatt, Sandy Wyatt Ball, and a son; Dale Wilson.
Survivors include her husband; Delbert Wilson, three sons; David Wyatt of Mt. Airy, NC, Andy Wyatt of Norfolk, VA, Randy Wilson of Princeton, WV, a daughter; Rebecca Wyatt Vaughn of Princeton, WV, a brother; Ken Bowen of Bluewell, WV, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be conducted Tuesday March 11, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cravens-Shires funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Roney Marrs and Rev. Scott Catron officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens located in Princeton, WV. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Monday March 10, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
