Mazie Mae Galliher

Mazie Mae Galliher, age 80, of Glen Daniels, WV, formerly of Bluefield, WV, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital. Born on March 18, 1933 in Welch, she was a daughter of the late Harmon and Sarah Simpson Lowe. She had lived in Glen Daniels for the past 4 years with her daughter after moving from Bluefield. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church on Grassy Branch in Bluefield, WV. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. Galliher; a son, Michael Galliher; a brother, Leroy Lowe; and a sister, Mabel Sizemore. Survivors: Daughters: Catherine Allen and husband Craig of Glen Daniels, WV Shelia Joyce Marshall and husband Walter of Dudley, NC 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. George Stamper officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where her family will be her pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
