Pearlie May Stafford, age 58, of Prudich Street, Montcalm, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born on September 14, 1955 in Tazewell, VA, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Annie Salyers Asbury. She had been a resident of Montcalm for 18 years and attended the Montcalm Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a graduate of Tazewell High School and was a homemaker. She will be sadly missed by her family who will see her on the other side of the pearly gates. Until then, they will love and miss her very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Freddie and Bill Asbury; and 4 sisters, Betty Rogers, Pauline and Peggy Asbury, and Shirley Marsh.

4 great grandchildren: Madison Harris; Kolten, Kamren and Jayden Coffee
3 step grandchildren: Ryan, Austin and Gage
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Darrell Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
