Kenneth Knuckles

Kenneth “Kenny” Knuckles, 57, of Bluefield, WV passed on February 19, 2014. Kenny was born on September 13, 1956 in Welch, WV to Dewey and Opal Cochran Knuckles. Kenny was a former coal miner for Superior Mining International Corporation. He was a member of Baptist Falls Church. He is preceded by death by sisters Irene Moore and Bonnie Porterfield; brothers Dewey Knuckles, Billy Knuckles, Bobby Knuckles. Kenny is survived by his daughters Candace Lester and Melissa of Bluefield; grandson, Tyler of Bluefield; He is also survived by his sisters Agnes Green (Phillip) of Welch, Sylvia Goodson (Douglas, deceased) of Huntington, Freda Smith (Gary) of Carswell, Katherine Young (Tommy) of Bluefield, VA; brothers Mack Knuckles of Switchback, Raymond Knuckles of Maybeury; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Elders Denny Mullins and Elder Lonnie Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
