Angelia Dawn Lewis Garland, age 47, of 30 Elm Drive, Rocky Gap, VA, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at her home from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born on October 31, 1966 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of Gay French, of Abbs Valley, VA and was raised by the late Harry E. Lewis, Sr. and Ruth Lambert Lewis. She had been a resident of Rocky Gap for 25 years and was the assistant manager of Arby’s in Bluefield. She was a graduate of Bramwell High School and attended Bluefield State College. She was past madam president of the FOE #857.
She was preceded in death by her parents who raised her, Harry E. Lewis, Sr. and Ruth V. Lewis; siblings, Harry E. Lewis, Jr., Betty Bailey, Bob Lewis, Butch Lewis; and mother in law, Violette Lucas.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Jim Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Park Cemetery on Monday. Charlie Harris, Danny Harris, Darryl Gibson, Jr., Austin Edwards, Rodney Scott, Dan Brewer will serve as pallbearers. Darryl Gibson, Sr. and Allen Garcia will serve as honorary pallbearers.
