Samuel Keith Day 66 of Pollard’s Mobile Home Park in Bluefield (Brushfork), West Virginia formerly of Pocahontas, VA passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at his residence.
Sam was born on March 02, 1947 in Wilco, WV to the late Arthur and Betty Jarrett Day. He was a former Coal miner and retired Route Salesman. He had been a resident of Brushfork for the past four years and was a member of the Echoes of Calvary Church on Rt. 20.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Daniel Day, Douglas Day and Earl Day.
Sam was an animal lover who was ever so proud of his 55 gal showcase aquarium and deeply loved his dog Chippy and Fuss buster his Persian cat. He leaves behind one son Jeremy Thomas of Pocahontas, VA.
In keeping with Mr. Days request he body was cremated and his remains will be spread on Peel Chestnut Mountain.
