Anthony Ray Smith 58 of Lorton Lick Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.
Anthony was born on November 28, 1955 in Richlands, VA to Ernest B. Smith of Wytheville, VA and Carolyn Cruise Smith Thompson of Bluefield, WV. He had been a resident of Bluefield for the past three years and was a retired Sales Rep for Advantage Wholesale. Anthony was a founding member of the Princeton Rescue Squad Chapel.
Anthony was preceded in death by one grandson Levi Smith

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Danny Gunnoe officiating the service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. Until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In keeping with Anthony’s wishes his body will be cremated after the service.
