Willard Lee Green 63 of Glenwood Haven Road Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia.
Willard was born on June 01, 1950 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Golden and Delma Frazier Green. He joined the US Army in 1969 serving in Vietnam from 1970 to 1971 where he received the Bronze Star Medal; Willard was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1973. After being discharged from the Army he worked and retired from the United States Postal Service after 28 years of service. He also did long haul transpiration across the country. Willard was a member of the DAV, VFW, loved football, cooking and reading.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Steve Walker officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard will be conducting military graveside rites.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014 one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia.
