Mary Edna Clements Hollis 85 of Bluefield, WV passed away at home on Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born in Crumpler, WV on May 27, 1928 to the late Joe Henry (Booge) Clements and Iretta Stanley Clements.
Mrs. Hollis made her home in the Bluewell area, later moving to the Brushfork area. She was a homemaker for many years and married for 59 years to the late Washington William Hollis. She was a member of the Bluewell United Methodist Church and she attended Northfork High School.
In addition to her parents and husband of 59 years she was preceded in death by one grandson Washington Rayford Taylor, sisters Essie Nisbet, Betty Delida Johnson, Brothers Joe Clements, Jr and Billy Clements.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bluewell United Methodist Church in Bluewell, West Virginia with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia. As well as one hour prior to the funeral service at Bluewell United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
