Willie Lockhart, age 81 of New Hope Road, Bluefield, W.Va. passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home.
Born on June 16, 1932 in Caldwell, WV, he was a son of Wallace Lockhart and Mildred Kathleen Loomis Lockhart. He was a retired coal miner for US Steel for 42 years and was a veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He had been a resident of Gary for most of his life and had lived in Princeton the last 10 years.
He was preceded in death by: his wife of 52 years, Aliene Bevins Lockhart; brothers, Garnett, Leslie, Albert, James, Ronald, Donald Lockhart; and sisters, Irene Lilley and Mildred Rose.
He is Survived by:

Granddaughter Crystal (Ben) Vause of Worthington OH

Funeral Service Will Be Conducted on Friday Jan 10, 2014, at 1:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor David Bergeron officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
