Willie Lockhart

Willie Lockhart, age 81 of New Hope Road, Bluefield, W.Va. passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 at his home. Born on June 16, 1932 in Caldwell, WV, he was a son of Wallace Lockhart and Mildred Kathleen Loomis Lockhart. He was a retired coal miner for US Steel for 42 years and was a veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He had been a resident of Gary for most of his life and had lived in Princeton the last 10 years. He was preceded in death by: his wife of 52 years, Aliene Bevins Lockhart; brothers, Garnett, Leslie, Albert, James, Ronald, Donald Lockhart; and sisters, Irene Lilley and Mildred Rose. He is Survived by: Son Carson Bevins, wife Tina of Galloway OH Granddaughter Crystal (Ben) Vause of Worthington OH Brothers: Walter Lockhart, (Rosie Deceased) Gary, WV Merle (Mary) Lockhart – Warren, NJ Sister - Ann (David) Bergeron – Gloucester, VA Aunt Madora Marchal and Numerous Sisters In Laws, Nieces and Nephews Funeral Service Will Be Conducted on Friday Jan 10, 2014, at 1:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor David Bergeron officiating.
