Iris Shrader

Iris Shrader, 85, of Henry Hollow Road, Bluefield, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on October 2, 1928 in Montcalm, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Howell O’Donnell. She had been a lifelong resident of Lorton Lick Road and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buster Shrader; 1 brother, Wesley O’Donnell; and 3 sisters, Ruby Sublett, Goldie Shrader and Ruth Thomason. Survivors include: Son: Roy Shrader and Earlene of Bluefield Daughters: Dorothy McComas and Jerry of Bluefield Connie Noel and Chris of Gray, TN 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Minister Gary Lamie officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
