Ina Cecil

Ina M. Adams Cecil of Bluefield, VA formerly of Welch, WV passed away on December 29, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on July 6, 1932 in Edwight, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Tishie Miller Adams. She had been a resident of Bluefield, VA for 3 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, VA. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. To her children, she was a reflection of grace, beauty and elegance. She was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed attending church services. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, J. Stuart Cecil; and 2 brothers, Kennie and Dennis Adams. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Mrs. Debby Ramella and Husband Monty of Bluefield, VA Tammy J. Cecil of Bluefield, WV Son: J. Stuart Cecil, Jr. of Abingdon, VA 4 grandchildren: Jason S. Hicks, Matthew Hicks and Wife Shandi, Montica Ramella Dillon, and J. Stuart (Trey) Cecil III 1 great grandchild: Landon T. Hicks Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Brad Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
