E. Jack Martin 82 of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Loving Hands Adult Care in Bluefield, West Virginia. Jack was born on March 20, 1931 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late George R. Martin and Ethel Swecker Martin. Jack had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the First Christian Church in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was retired from Betsy Ross Bakery as a Route Salesman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother George R. Martin, Jr., and one sister Ann C. Smiley. Left to cherish his memory is: One Son: D. Steven Martin and wife Christy of Apex, North Carolina Three Daughters: Jackie Stoklosa and husband Ron of Ladson, South Carolina Donna Cole and husband Michael of Bluefield, Virginia Terry Mitchem and husband Ray of Bluefield, West Virginia One Sister: June M. Coleman of Salem, Virginia Three Grandchildren: Lisa Lawson Hiles, Martin J. Stoklosa and Michael J. Stoklosa Three Great Grandchildren: Logan D. Mills, Jack E. Hiles and Violet J. Stoklosa Two Nieces and three nephews A memorial service will be held for Mr. Martin on Saturday, January 04, 2014 at First Christian Church 2200 Bland Road Bluefield, WV at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug McDaniel officiating the service. Inurnment will follow the service at First Christian Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 04, 2014 from 1:00p.m. until the time of his service at First Christian Church in Bluefield, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Loving Hands Adult Care 402 Airport Road Bluefield, West Virginia. 24701 and/or First Christian Church 2200 Bland Road Bluefield, WV. 24701.
