Carol Ann East

Carol Ann East, 67, of Prosperity School Road, Rock, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on January 17, 1946 in Wilmington, DE, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Edith Davis Woodward. She had been a resident of Windmill Gap for 40 years and was a stock clerk for Wal-Mart. She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Elizabeth Cosner and Irene Louise Woodward. Survivors include: Husband: Michael G. East, Sr. of the home Son: Michael G. East, Jr. and wife Dianna of Rock Grandson: Brandon Grose Brothers: Charles F. Woodward, Jr. Paul C. Woodward and wife Betty James Woodward and wife Evelyn Sisters: Florence May Bacchus Sarah Mae Johnson 2 special little girls: Tarra Grose and Austin Grose 41 nieces and nephews Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Earl Hill officiating. Burial will follow at the East Family Cemetery on Windmill Gap with James East, Johnny East, Donald East, Keith Darago, Chris Bailey, Neil Mason, Garland Darago, and Dougie Miller serving as pallbearers.
