Brenda Lucille Venable

Brenda Lucille Sadler Venable, 66, of Fairlawn Road, Bluefield, WV, went to be with her Savior on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on June 8, 1947 in Anawalt, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Elijah and Gladys Lucille Clower Sadler. She was a 1966 graduate of Gary High School and was a retired executive assistant from Flowers Baking Company in Bluefield. She was a member of the East End Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robert Venable, who went to heaven six weeks ago to welcome her home. Survivors include: Daughter: Charli MeShelle Venable Nolan and husband Daniel of Lake Monticello, VA One granddaughter: Kylie Elise Nolan, who was the apple of her grandparents’ eyes. Son of her heart: Jeffrey Burton Venable and wife Brenda of Princeton Brothers: Barry Gilbert Sadler and Shirley of Bluefield Tommy Lee Sadler and Linda of Bluefield Danny Ray Sadler of Frances of Bluefield Sisters: Beverly Pearl Nance and Bobby of Moravian Falls, NC Beteresia Jean Willis and Jim of Bluefield Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Chad Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Deacons of the church serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
