Lorraine “Frisky” Hallis 76, of Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 after a long illness.
Lorraine was born on February 08, 1937 in Goodwill, West Virginia to the late William Howard Toler and Lucy Bell Blankenship Toler. She had been a resident of Bluefield for most of her life, a graduate of Northfork High School, and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Hallis, three brothers, Kermel Toler, Willard (Bill) Toler and Clifford Toler; two sisters Edith Yates and Mildred (Midge) Sperry.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy (Hallis) Hedrick and Frank Hallis; daughter in law Michele Hallis; grandchildren Shaun, Brigitte, and Drew Hallis of Virginia Beach, Tim Hedrick of Bluefield, Shawn and Sarah (Hedrick) Redman of Daniels; and great grandson Braylon Redman.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with Minister Tony Reed officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where family will be serving as pallbearers.
The family will be receiving friends at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
