Viola Sarah Mabe Webb, 93, of Rt. 20 (Bluewell), went to her eternal home on Sunday, December 15, 2013.
Born on January 4, 1920 in McComas, she was a daughter of William and Annie Perdue Mabe. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She was one of the world’s best cooks and always wanted to share with anyone who visited her home. She was the wife of a coal miner for 40 years and was a homemaker for her family. She was a dedicated Christian and was always faithful to the Lord and her church where she was a member of the Montcalm Church of God for 74 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Elmer Webb; 2 sons, Carl Edward and Herbert Elmer Webb; two sisters; ten brothers; a grandson; 3 great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Edward Wood and Rev. Darryl Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
