Opal Maxine Quesenberry 97 of Vista Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 a Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, West Virginia. Opal was born on November 18, 1916 in Roderfield, West Virginia to the late Jesse Wells and Maude Fisher Wells. Opal had been a resident of Bluefield since 1972 and was a member of Roderfield Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William C. Quesenberry Sr., one son Ralph Douglas Quesenberry and one grandson William Curtis Chadwick. Survivors Include: One Son: William C. Quesenberry Jr. and wife Rose of Hickory, North Carolina Three Daughters: Debra Muncy and husband Danny of Bluefield, West Virginia Barbara Q. Mayo of Bluefield, West Virginia Nancy Chadwick and husband James of Wayne, West Virginia Daughter in Law: Verronia Quesenberry of Statesville, North Carolina Thirteen Grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 1:30p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, West Virginia. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where members of her family will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of her service.
