Drema Marie Katona

Drema Marie Katona, 69, of Charwood Avenue, Princeton, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital with her family by her side. Born on December 19, 1943 in Stotesbury, WV, she was a daughter of the late William N. Smith, Jr. and Aretta Minnix Smith. She had been a resident of Princeton for 32 years and was a member of the Bluewell Church of God. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Billy Ray Smith. Survivors include: Her husband of 51 years: Andrew Katona, Jr. of the home Daughter: Annette Marie Street and husband Randal of Princeton Grandson: Aaron Street of Princeton Step granddaughter: Ashley Vaughn and husband Seth 2 great grandchildren: Katy and Andy Vaughn 2 brothers: Bob Smith and wife Swancie of North Ridgeville, OH Roger Smith and wife Sue of Nashville, TN Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Darryl Christian officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call prior to services, from 12:00-1:00, at the funeral home.
