Floyd Eugene Satterwhite

Floyd Eugene Satterwhite, Jr., age 51, of Jacksonville, TX and formerly of Richmond, VA, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Jacksonville. Born on July 11, 1962 in Richmond, VA, he was a son of Floyd Satterwhite, Sr. of Mechanicsville, VA and the late Alma Stamper Satterwhite. He had been a resident of Texas for 17 years and music teacher. He was a member of the Church of God A Worldwide Association. Survivors in addition to his father include: 2 sons: Josh Satterwhite of TX Floyd “Trey” Satterwhite of TX 2 daughters: Katie Satterwhite of TX Mackie Satterwhite Ryan of Jacksonville, NC 2 sisters: Lois Satterwhite and Mayme Satterwhite of Mechanicsville, VA Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. John Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
