Clyde Junior King

Clyde Junior King, age 86, Amelia Place, Princeton, WV, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at his residence. Born on February 5, 1927 in McComas, he was a son of the late William M. and Sallie Pearl Wimmer King. He had been a resident of Princeton for 46 years and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired coal miner from CONSOL having worked 46 years and was a member of the UMWA. He was also a veteran of the US Army being discharged in 1946. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survivors include: 2 sons: Victor King and Debbie of Princeton William King of Oakvale Daughter: Tammy King 5 grandchildren: Christopher King and Paula Michael King and Sarah Steven King Robert King and wife Kara Daniel King 8 great grandchildren: Christopher, Tiffany, Justin, Tori, Ashley, Hunter, Belle and Lucas King Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. C.D. Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family members will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
