Wanda Francis Jones

Wanda Francis Jones, age 66, of Wedgewood Avenue, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her home. Born on July 9, 1947 in Anawalt, she was a daughter of the late George and Sophia Mikels Rose. She had been a resident of Princeton for 9 years and was a member of the Willowbrook Baptist Church. She was retired from A.A.E.F.S. as a restaurant manager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, William “Chip” Capps and Barry Capps; and a brother, Gene Rose. Airy, NC Grandchildren: Sophia and Isabel Capps of Cottage Garden, OR Brothers: David Rose of Gary Earnest Rose of Pageton Jack Rose of Thomasville, NC Billy Rose of Princeton Sisters: Nannie Matthews of Kernersville, NC Dorothy Edwards of Anawalt Gail Barnes of Princeton Cookie Barnes of Princeton Special nephews: Donnie Barnes of CA Bobby and Joey Barnes of Princeton Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Emory Marchant officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
