Mamie Scott

Mamie Robertson Scott, age 96, of Ft. Mill, SC and formerly of Montcalm, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Harbor Chase Assisted Living in Rock Hill, SC. Born on July 10, 1917 in McComas, she was a daughter of the late William P. and Bessie Dudley Robertson. She had been a resident of Montcalm for 65 years before moving to Fort Mill and was a member of the Montcalm United Methodist Church. She retired from H&M Shoe Store in Bluefield with 31 years of service, and was a member of the Montcalm Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Edwin Scott; brothers, Joe, William, Jr., Bill, and Stanley Robertson; and sisters, Gladys Linkous, Helen Webb, Bonnie Kappa, and Mae Bernice Fulcher. Survivors include: Daughter: Nancy Davis and husband Wayne of Ft. Mill, SC Grandchildren: Steven Davis and wife Karen of Charleston, WV. Shonda Davis of Alexandria, Va. Scott Davis and wife Andrea of Charlotte, NC. Great Grandchildren: Ethan Davis and Ashley Davis of Charleston, WV. Lily Davis of Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Melody Rickman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
