Jack C. Fitzko

Jack C. Fitzko age 66 of Rock went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Born on August 13, 1947 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Mike Fitzko Sr. And the late Helen Knight Fitzko. He was a loving husband and father. He was a member of the Mt. Grove Community Church. He was a devout Christian who loved The Lord and served him faithfully each day. He loved spending time in the woods hunting with his three sons and he enjoyed the time he spent talking with his daughter. He loved his grandchildren dearly and cherished the time he spent with each of them. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leslie Kay Fitzko , two brothers, Mike Fitzko Jr and Jimmy Fitzko and one sister, Pauline Taylor. Survivors include three sons, Tony Fitzko and wife Christina of Brushfork, Micky Fitzko and wife Cheri of Princeton, Jason Fitzko and wife Michelle of Bramwell and one daughter, Tina Syva and husband Rob of Middletown,DE; four grandchildren, Emory, Ashley, Matthew, and Tyler. Two sisters, Lorrine Szala and husband Rich of Springfield, VA and Judy Thompson of Rock. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 6:00PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Oliver Hill officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the Fitzko Cemetery in Rock. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
