Priscilla Ellen Morgan

Priscilla Ellen Morgan, age 71, of 264 Switchback Road, Bluefield, WV died on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on August 4, 1942 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Roberts Rakes. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She had lived in Bluefield since 1977 having moved from McDowell County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bascum “Leslie” Morgan; 2 sisters; and a brother. Survivors: Sons: Wesley Morgan of Wytheville, VA Joey Morgan of Princeton, WV Daughters: Deborah Mills of Princeton, WV Pamela Meadows of Princeton, WV Brother: Ted Rakes of Welch, WV Sister: Patricia Mullins of Welch, WV 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 2:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Ministers Mary Brickey and Randall Brickey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where pallbearers will be Greg Bunn, Darrel Bunn, Evan Morgan, Dwight Graham, James Clark and Russell Morgan. Friends may call on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 til 2:30 PM prior to the service.
