Regina Mae Farmer Hedrick, age 59, of 156 Cannon Street, Princeton, WV took her Heavenly Flight on her birthday, Thursday, October 10, 2013 with her loved ones gathered around her after a short battle with cancer. Born on October 10, 1954, in Anawalt, she was the daughter of Eloise (Lois) Farmer of Pageton and the late James G. Farmer. She graduated from Gary High School in 1972 and attended the Princeton Church of God. She lived in Greensburg, PA for 20 years and returned to the Princeton area in 2003. She was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Verneda Hedrick. Survivors include: Husband of 37 years: Ron James Hedrick of the home Son: Travis James Hedrick and wife Missy of Latrobe, PA Brothers: Larry D. Farmer and wife Judy of Pageton, WV Ronald J. Farmer and wife Diane of Anawalt, WV Ricky G. Farmer and partner Kathy Burge of Bluefield, WV Gregory S. Farmer of Pageton, WV Sister: Vickie L. Farmer Mikles and husband James of Princeton, WV Father-in-law: Marshall Hedrick and wife Ernestine of Princeton, WV Brother-in-law: Kenneth Hedrick and wife Millie She had a special relationship with her nephew, Chase Mikles of Princeton. She is also survived by her longtime friend, Barbara Sarver, a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Mary Lambert and Rev. David Hercey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where her family and friends are serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The family is accepting online condolences at www.cravens-shires.com. The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV is in charge of arrangements.
