Well done my good and faithful servant. Jack Lee Kinder, 66, of 346 S. College Avenue, Bluefield, VA, went to be with the Lord and to be pain free on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 10, 1946, he was the first son of Junior Lee Kinder and Mary Elizabeth Tolbert Kinder. He was a graduate of Graham High School. He was a charter member of the Bluefield Virginia Rescue Squad and former police officer for Bluefield, VA and Nacogdoches, TX. He most recently was employed by Lowes. Jack loved to fish and watch his “Dallas Cowboys” pay ball. He was a member and former Deacon of Parkview Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear in-laws, Earl and Gertrude Stone. Jack is survived by: His loving wife, caregiver and best friend: Pam Stone Kinder of the home 3 daughters: Angela Jayna Strong and husband Curtis of TX Michelle Strong and husband Barry of TX Melissa Crabtree of TX 8 grandchildren: Christine and husband Ryan McAllister; Christopher and wife Shania Strong; Kelsey and Kayla Strong; Matthew Strong; Brittany Strong; Darby and Kenzie Crabtree 1 great granddaughter: Abby Faith McAllister 3 brothers: Joe and Kathy Kinder of Haymarket, VA Robert and Lynn Kinder of Bluefield, VA Bill Kinder of Bluefield, WV Special Aunt: Betty Broyles of Bluefield Special relatives from Hampton, GA: Orville, Shirley, Mark and Martha Stone Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Lacy Brooks officiating the servce. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00-8:30 at the funeral home. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to teh family for assistance with the funeral expenses.
